Cycling and mountain biking at Lake Reschen

In the Vinschgau Valley and around Lake Reschen, every biker will find their favorite tour. Are you a leisure cyclist? Then you will love the circular tours around Lake Reschen or Lake Haider. Or the leisurely Adige cycle route on the old Roman road Via Claudia Augusta. Great destinations for e-bikers are the Haideralm and Grauner Alm, which you can reach on forest and gravel paths. Prefer an MTB trail that challenges you as a mountain biker? Then pedal up into the heights: the Schöneben-Rescher-Alm tour and the legendary Plamortrunde, past the tank barriers of the interwar period, offer real challenges for high mountain bikers. For enduro fans, we recommend the new 3-country enduro trails at Lake Reschen: flowy, technically demanding, but also suitable for beginners.
Incidentally, the bike season is extra long here: you can get on your bike from the end of March until around the end of November.

Traveling with your own bike? The Hotel Tyrol has a large bike garage where you can park your bike safely and dryly. There is also a charging station for e-bikes so that the battery is fully charged overnight. So you can start your bike tour through the Venosta Valley the next day relaxed and full of energy.
