Markets in Mals and the surrounding area

The “Mitta-Morkt”, or Wednesday market, in Malles/Mals is a real treasure trove: at the market stalls you can buy regional products such as cheese, bacon, vegetables, herbal teas and jams, as well as unique handmade items, jewelry, clothing and leather goods. The market takes place every Wednesday morning in the pedestrian zone of Mals and on Peter-Glückh-Platz. From June to September, the farmers’ market on the main square also invites you to store: Farmers and producers from the surrounding area sell their home-made products there.

On certain days of the year, traditional markets attract many locals and visitors: the Georgimorkt in Mals in spring and the St. Vitus market at Tartscher Bühel in June. In autumn, the colorful autumn market in Glorenza/Glurns, the Rosenkranz market in Sluderno/Schludern, the Palabira market in Glorenza/Glurns, the Gollimorkt market in Malles/Mals and the Sealamorkt market in Glorenza/Glurns are great events not to be missed.
