There are great ski tours around Malles/Mals that you can undertake on your own or with an experienced mountain guide. Our personal favorite routes lead to the Grionkopf, the Elferspitze or the Inner Nockenkopf in the Rojental, to the Arundakopf in the Schleiser Tal, the Weißkugel in the Schnalstal, the Glockhauser in the Langtauferer Tal or the Rasass-Spitze and the Piz Sesvenna. Very close and totally convenient: On Watles, you can ascend via two separate, signposted ascent routes away from the pistes that lead to the summit of Watles. You can then ski down via your own ski touring route.
